Life is wonderful!

This morning we was met by this lovely little calf. The first calf this year, and many more to com. This one is a she:-)

Åke realy like to touch her. The silk soft fur and the fearless curosity these new born calfs show is fantastic to be a part of.

When we was finished in the barn this little girl was resting on the hay beside her mum.


Att the hens there was a surprice too! They have started to give eggs. How wonderful life on our farm is!

It realy make my day:-)

Cold and sunny days

These last days have been sunny and nice, but cold.

Clear blue sky, sun and snow.

I do not think I have to tell you how cold these mornings are...

Waiting for spring

These last days have been so sunny and nice that I had to find my gardening books and start to dream about springtime.

I have bougth this fancy plug box to plant seed into. Every box is made for fourty-nine plants. I did find my leftover seeds from last year. It surprice me that I had forgotten there was so many leftovers seed :-)

Oh no... I wake up yesterday and find that there had com more snow, my dream of a early spring was blown away. Guess that I need to wait a cuple of months more :-(

I picked up my stitchery to encourage myself a bit.

Happiness is indeed where you can find it.

Yesterday I found it in my kitchen. I needed to do something else then just the everyday things. So I started to make some carrot marmelade, and I bake some nice bread to the marmelade. It taste realy good. (sorry I have no pictures)

A sunny morning

This morning was so sunny and nice that I had to take some pictures to share with you.

A week ago we had rain and the snow was smelting . The wather remained on the feeld. So when the cold temperature came back we had a realy nice skating place.


You can see the icy feeld in the middle on the picture.

On the river you can see how much water there was.

There is no way that I can take up water from this river.

I took the water hose outside and filled up these pods. Much easier att the moment.

This old feeders is showing up when the snow is melting.

New animals on the farm

For a couple of weeks ago we get this nice rooster and hen. It came from a neighbor family

who was moving to another country.

Every morning when I com to give them breakfast this nice rooster

is in the door to welcome me (or is it the food :-)

These hen comes together with the rooster.

I belief that it will good for them when spring comes and they can get out for a little walk.

Untill then they have to be inside.
